Cympal Productions was created out of necessity. With the advent of digital technologies and the possibilities those technologies afforded, Cympal evolved as a banner under which these pioneering projects were mounted. Now Cympal has increased its scope, focusing on feature-length narrative productions. Although no side won in the digital revolution, we feel strongly that the battle is behind us, and that respect has been gained for digital productions with integrity.

With Cympal's roots in "Fringe" or "Off-Off Broadway" Theatre we feel passionate about the possibilities of a "Fringe" or "Off-Off Brodway" Cinema movement. With no restrictions on content and no limitations on the number of potential spectators we are investing our time and energy in "low cost/high impact" productions. Cympal considers ideas to be currency and integrity to be storyteller’s insurance. We pride ourselves on realizing fresh ideas and
supporting motivated people. The goals and achievements of Cympal are
not idealistic; nor, for that matter, are they realistic. They consist instead of
an idealism informed by a healthy daily dose of reality.
